“Jesus Christ came to seek and save the lost and the broken!
Today we, His Church, are His hands, we are His feet… we are His Voice – we are then called to seek and save the lost – to seek the broken – His children.
Even if you are not the one who leads the individual to the acceptance of Christ as Lord and Savior, you can still be the one who plants the seed, offers the kindness, provides a glimpse of what it is to be a child of the Risen King.
Like John the Baptist, we too can prepare the way for the Master; to prepare the way for the single soul to come to know Christ! Through Prayer.
Just Pray. Pray.”
Today’s message came out of the Book of the Acts of the Apostles Chapter 2 & the Gospel of Luke Chapter 11. We heard how the message of the Christ, of our Lord Jesus touched those gathered at Pentecost, and how the Holy Spirit came upon those who believed and were baptized in the name of Jesus.
“Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?” Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized to the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
