Food Ministry is about so much more than, well…food. It starts with the true food, the Bread of Life, Jesus Himself. The Word of God speaks to us in John 6:35″ Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” As willing vessels, we are extensions of Jesus’ Ministry here on earth pointing others to the True Bread of life. In John 6, before Jesus revealed to His disciples that he was The Bread of Life, he had just finished feeding a multitude of 5000 people. While the crowds were hungry and the food was necessary to satisfy their physical need, Jesus used this as a backdrop to give them something far more important, Spiritual food. We meet the need with physical food, as there are many in our communities who are hungry and in dire need, but the true Ministry is sharing Jesus, The Bread of Life, the only one who can ever satisfy our Spiritual Hunger. 

Today we are blessed with opportunity…our Ministry of the Word team, with brother Rico and w whole van full of men woke up really really early (4AM) to go down to the Rock Church in San Bernardino to work alongside their teams to harvest food to be a blessing with. Then this afternoon, Brother Vance, George anf our Lamb’s crew are privileged to serve here in our home community. We are blessed to participate in Lamb’s Ministry at New Life Church.
