And so it was, deep in addiction and denial, one warm fall day of 2011, I walked through the door of God’s Women’s Ranch, Phelan (at that time known as Set Free Women’s Ranch) for the very first time. Having been to another ranch and rehab previously, I thought I knew what to expect. Instead, I found myself walking through the looking glass into an atmosphere supercharged with the Holy Spirit! People’s lives were actually changing as God got ahold of them! I wanted that too, so I surrendered all of me to God and allowed Him to start working in the deep areas of my life I’d never allowed Him access to before.

Two work homes and two jobs later, I  found myself back at the ranch in 2014, moved by God like a chess piece right on the square He wanted me to be on.

The last six years have not been easy: downturns, setbacks, disappointments, betrayal, false accusations, and the loss of many God’s Ranch brothers and sisters between 2018-2019 I was personally close to, culminating in the loss of Miss Adrienne. Graduated to glory, all.

Through everything, I have never lost sight of my final destination, “…forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on to the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus (Phil 3:13-14).

The inroads God has sandblasted through the secret chambers of my soul did not happen overnight. But at least they happened at all! They might not have had I not invited Him to do a deep cleaning of my Psyche.
